Dr. Kushal Shah
Specialist in Hand, Wrist & Reconstructive Microsurgery
Dr. Kushal Shah is an orthopaedic surgeon with advanced fellowship training and a focused practice in hand, wrist, peripheral nerve, brachial plexus and reconstructive surgery. He is Head of the Hand, Reconstructive & Brachial Plexus Surgery Unit at Gleneagles Hospital, Parel, and sees patients at 360° Hand Clinic in Dadar East.
He treats complex injuries of the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow. His work includes microsurgical reconstruction, replantation and revascularisation of injured fingers and limbs, nerve and brachial plexus surgery, congenital hand conditions in children, and the correction of deformities after injury.
He trained at leading Indian centres in microsurgery, paediatric and congenital hand surgery, and hand and wrist trauma. In 2024 he visited upper-limb and paediatric surgery centres in the United States on the ASSH International Travel Fellowship. His approach focuses on restoring anatomy and function, with a reconstruction planned around each patient.
The name 360° Hand Clinic is the philosophy: a 360° view of each patient. That means understanding the injury, the person attached to it, and the work, sport or craft they need to get back to.
Restoring function.Reconstructing form.Rebuilding confidence.

Function first
Success is measured by what your hand can do afterwards: grip, pinch, write, work.

Surgery when it helps
Many hand problems settle with splints, therapy or an injection. You will hear those options first.
